    Q.How can we get sales information on where our distributors sell?

    A: First, because many companies use a dealer or distributor network to go to market, they often lose visibility on where their distributors sell. One way to address this is to require POS (Point of Sale) reports from their distributors. While distributors are often reluctant to supply this information, our experience is that a combination of financial incentives (rebates, discounts) coupled with useful reports mined from the data for the distributors to use will work.
